THE CEO

Tara Aldrich is the CEO & Founder of Educators On Call LLC, an educational staffing agency serving charter schools and independent agencies in the Greater Philadelphia Area. She is a career educator with more than 20 years of experience. Starting as a substitute herself, in Washington, D.C., (a few years after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Howard University) Tara found her life’s calling. She was born to teach! It was through the charter school administrator lens that she identified her passion for the under-supported and often poorly trained temporary staff.

In the summer of 2012, Tara Aldrich founded Educators On Call, combining her business and education experience. Her mission is to provide area schools with a team of substitutes that come prepared to meet the needs of today’s classroom. In an effort to more directly support student learning the sister company, Tutors On Call - a one-on-one online tutoring service, launched in early October 2018.

Along with running her business and caring for her family Tara is very active in her community. She serves on an education ministry at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, held membership with the Black Women’s Educational Alliance of Montgomery County, the National Association of Professional Women, the Professional Women’s Business Network, served as the board President of Calling All Female Entrepreneurs from 2015-2017, and is a Cohort 6 graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business program.
